🎨 Digidorms Clothing Template Guide

This guide explains how to use the provided Aseprite templates to create clothing sprites for Digidorms characters.

🧵 How to Use the Templates

Follow these steps to correctly create and export your clothing sprites:

1. Open the Template
Open the provided `.aseprite` file using Aseprite.

2. Draw Your Clothing

Locate the layer named:
"draw clothing for each frame here"
Draw your clothing on this layer.
Make sure to draw for all 4 angles / frames.

3. Remove Template Layer

Delete the layer named:
"remove before exporting"

⚠️ This step is required before exporting.

4. Export as Sprite Sheet

Go to:
File → Export Sprite Sheet

Use the following settings:

Layout

Sheet Type: `Horizontal Strip`

Sprite

Source: `Sprite`
Layers: `Visible Layers`
Frames: `All Frames`

Borders
All values: `0`
Output

Enable output file


5. Export
Click Export

✅ Expected Result

Your exported file should:

Be a horizontal strip
Contain all sprite frames
Have the correct frame order
Include only your clothing (no template elements)

These assets are owned by Digidorms and may not be used, copied, or redistributed.

Base Character

The base character is copyright protected and owned by Digidorms.

Your Clothing Designs

Clothing created using this template:

  ✅Free to use within Digidorms
  ❌Not allowed for use outside of Digidorms
  ❌ Not allowed for resale or redistribution outside the platform

💡 Notes

Keep your designs aligned with the base character proportions.
Make sure each frame matches the correct direction/angle.
Avoid editing or exporting hidden/template layers.

If you follow this guide, your sprites will be fully compatible with Digidorms!
